Cask at old coffee house. Clear Amber with off white head. Aroma is fresh hops, malts, hazelnut, a little toffee/caramel.smooth taste. Nutty/malty at first with a bitter hoppy finish. Good stuff.

(2017 London) 1 Pint Cask @ Old Coffee House. Darker amber than expected. Nose is overripe almost alcoholic fruit, toffee, spoiled caramel & shag tobacco even. Taste is mild cacao, toffee, sugar, spoiled fruit, shag tobacco, plastic, very messy & confusing, weird but partially agreeable but strange. Spoiled toffee & plastic body.

[email protected] William IV, London. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is malty, fruity, wooden, earthy and also a bit candy and mild toasted notes. Flavour is fruits, wood, some floral notes as well as some mild wooden and herbal notes. Pleasantly balanced. Mild floral bitterness in the aftertaste.

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2013 Cask conditioned handpump Southampton Arms London 12/10/12. A nut brown coloured beer with an off-white head. Fruity sweet and hoppy in the nose. Sweet and a little sour in the mouth. Mainly malty but with berry hop flavours. Flavoursome but not totally in tune. Score 3.2

Cask at Cross Keyes with Sarah. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head that dissipates completely. Aroma has a good amount of grassy hops with a hint of citrus backed by hay. Flavor has grassy hops with a light earthy citrus note and a bread backing.

Cask at the Old Coffee House, 18/01/13. Clear mid brown with a good bubbly off white head that retains well. Nose carries light hop tones, malt, Germoline, light metallicnotes. Taste comprises light orchard fruit, biscuit malt, caramel, leafy hops. Medium body, soft carbonation, bitterness and some hop presence in the finish. A decent enough bitter.

Aroma: citrus fruits, lemongrass. Appearance: dark hazy brown, small beige head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: bitters intensify, grass, bitter citrus fruits, very dry in the long finish. Overall: quite a nice Bitter, nice aroma. Pint at The Old Coffee House.
