house, soho. Cloudy brown colour, watery but refreshing in taste, citric hoppy aftertaste, drinks down quickly
(2017 London) 1 Pint Cask @ Old Coffee House. Darker amber than expected. Nose is overripe almost alcoholic fruit, toffee, spoiled caramel & shag tobacco even. Taste is mild cacao, toffee, sugar, spoiled fruit, shag tobacco, plastic, very messy & confusing, weird but partially agreeable but strange. Spoiled toffee & plastic body. Cask at The Old Coffee House, Soho (Brodie’s) A clear brown colour with a thin off white head. Aroma of caramel, nuts, subtle biscuity mats, some tea, toast, raisin, orange and slight spicy hops. Taste of caramel, toasted malts, some nuts, slight orange, biscuity malts, a little toast, a hint of dark fruits and subtle spicy hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, toasty, spicy fruit hop bitterness in the finish. Wow what a bitter, so fruity as well as malty. Like spiced toast. Brodie’s keep on performing even in their standard beers MayumiH (1214) - - APR 14, 2016

Pint draught (cask) @ The Old Coffee House, Soho, London. Looks like a bitter but tastes too watery for me. This is on the light side of the bitters, even at 4% ABV. Garrold (5516) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 7, 2015
