Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a huge lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of straw, citrusy, and spicy hops on a malty background. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry spicy finish. Thanks yespr for sharing. joergen (28103) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 1, 2010

William IV, London. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, blueberries and some mild caramelly notes. Flavour is blueberries, some hops, grass and earth. Rather wellbalanced. Aftertaste is wood, blueberries and quite bitter.
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy amber with a creamy and lacing white head. Sweet yeasty nose. Medium body, sweet malt and fruit with a massive astringency. The blueberries remain a hint indeed. Quite some phenols. 170910 madmitch76 (24789) - , Essex, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2010

Brodies Beer Fest. Bottle. Hazy amber beer, medium white head. Light dry palate, a little crisp. Lagerish malt. A bare echo of something blueberry. Finishes very dry. Too dry and the fruit taste is hardly there.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy, deep gold with a foamy, white head. Nose holds some doughy, yeasty bread and faint fruitiness. Flavor is so so. Has some light, malty sugars, faint earth, hints of alcohol, and some very mild fruits. Light to medium in body with average to lively carbonation. Finishes a little bready, with a bit of sharpness, little bitterness. The beer isn’t bad, per se, but I can’t really pick out anything I like about it.
