Wonderful stuff - red-black with a faint haze and lots of hops on the nose, then a big rich flavour taking in chocolate, dried fruit and burnt orange. The finish is very bitter but softened by a lasting fruitness.

On tap at Mikkeller Bar. Dark brown/black opaque liquid with medium to big off-white/light tan head. Aroma of grass, citrus, tropical fruit, coffee, some light ash and lots of Citra hops. Really reminds me of a BIPA Ive brewed myself. Taste is dry and medium to high bitter with notes of grassy hops and roasted malt. Medium bodied with medium to high bitterness. Nicely hoppy.

Bottle. Very dark brown, hazy, average to large and mostly lasting light brown head. Moderate to full malty and lightly sweetish aroma, roasted malt with some tropical fruitiness, light caramel, roasted malt - faint burnt malt, light tropical fruitiness, piney - some grapefruit hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and dryish flavor, faint caramel, roasted malt - light burnt malt, faint tropical fruitiness, piney - light grapefruit hoppyness. Finish is average to long, malty and dry, lots of roasted malt - light burnt malt, lots of piney hoppyness - light grapefruit hoppyness. Well hopped and roasted BIPA - bit thin though. Quite nice but not top notch.
