Pours a hazy dark ruby red. A fruit, hop and pine aroma. A great mix of flavors between and Maverick and IPA with some fruit malts, citrus hops and pine. A bitter hoo and fruit aftertaste. john44 (3402) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 3, 2017
Cask Half Pint at The Rake, Borough, London in March 2014 - Reddish Amber Brown in colour. Some lacing. Very Hoppy; piney resinous (rather vegetal) hops , good hop bite. Fruity; grapefruit citrus. Malty; grainy malts, caramel. Assertively bitter hoppy fruity throughout with a solid malt base. Decent. (2014-03-06)

Keg at The Hop Inn, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. A hazy deep ruby amber colour with a medium off white head. Aroma of red berries, blackcurrant, some strawberry, subtle caramel and spicy hops. Taste of red berries, blackcurrant, strawberry, slight caramel and spicy, grassy hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A dryish, fruity, spicy hop bitterness in the finish. A different kind of red IPA that I’ve tried before. Very sweet and fruity but with a dominate spicy, grassy hop bitterness throughout, good use of hops. Nice. Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Cloudy amber red in colour with a zesty blackcurrant and red fruity flavour, orange marmalade and pine with a warming peppery hop and bitter pine creamy finish. Superb! Garrold (5619) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 11, 2015
Tap. Sheffield Tap. Copper colour, with a light haze. Thin, dense, sticky, just off white head. Rich, ripe orange, and strawberry purée. Fruity toffee, malty sweetness balances nicely. Taste is fruity sweet. Turns zesty, fresh hop bitter. Smooth, full palate. Finishes stewed fruit sweet, with a long, light bitter close. Very nice. berntholer (1619) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - APR 28, 2015
