omhper (24962) - TyresŲ, SWEDEN - MAR 5, 2012
Bottled, from the brewpub. Black, minimal head. Rich coffee aroma. Dry wih medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Leather and coffee - lots of coffee. Salty finish. I like the concentrated heavily roasty coffee flavours.

KyotoLefty (10193) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JAN 24, 2012
Bottle from Chuwy. Nose of cola, chocolate and spice, wood. Nice enough. Near black, no head. Flavors of wood, coke, coffee, tangy but bland. Thin, with a bit of funk. Not really doing it for me.

Pours almost black with a light tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, acetone, funk, coffee, chocolate and tobacco. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter, light sour with a long roasted, light sour finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

FatPhil (15961) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 6, 2011
500ml bottle (William IV, RBESG2011 Saturday)
Has a sour front, but a rich sweet finish. Good roast, burnt without being atringent. I donít like any sourness in my stouts 99% of the time, so the nose put me off this.
