At the William IV (Brodies Autumn Fest), 4th Sept 2010. Pure black with no head. Nose of bitter chocolate and Christmas pudding soaked in brandy. Lots of lovely warmth. Nice but not outstanding. Looking at my notes, I was very drunk by this point!

4th September 2010. Brodies Beer Fest at their Brewpub - King William IV in Leyton.
Bottle. Opaque black beer with a good tan head. Light dry palate. Rich creamy dark malt with a whisper of banana (is that what makes this Jamaican?). A very light touch of hop. Semi dry finish. Decent.

wyzzywyz22 (2108) - Wirral, Merseyside, ENGLAND - MAY 17, 2010
Bottle endorsed by and bought from Kris Wines, London. A very dense dark coloured pour with little in the way of a head. Nose was very promising, sweetish and fruity with a touch of roast. Fullish, smooth mouthfeel. Similar qualities in the flavour with tasty dark chocolate notes and a lingering slightly bitter finish. Can’t fault it.. Jamaica ? Nah she wanted a swig.....
