7/III/15 - on tap @ ACBF 2015 (Vichte) - BB: n/a (2015-324) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!Svesse (8579) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JAN 7, 2013
Clear pale red to pinkish beer, small aery pink head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of butter, diacetyl, sweet, bit sugary, more diacetyl, fruity touch. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish, buttery, weird, bit off, sweet. Aftertaste: fruity, cherries, diacetyl, yoghurt. Nope, this is not good at all. Did anyone taste this stuff? How did they think they’d get away with this?
(Draught at King William IV, Leyton, London, 22 Nov 2012) Hazy red colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, sour nose with notes of cherries, red fruit and a fairly fresh acidity. Fruity, tart taste with cherries, red fruit and a dry, fresh acidity in the finish. Light body, quite dry and tart. Low bitterness. A bit weird, but quite drinkable and refreshing. Nice one. jackl (8028) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 15, 2012
Keg @ The Cock Tavern. The pour’s medium hazy red with a tiny white head. The nose is sharp acetic lemon juice, bright sugar, soft fruit and malevolent buggy aromas. The taste is very tart, sour cherry and lemon rind. Hints of sweet sugar and marshmallow. Pissy wheat tang on the finish. Light body, refreshing. Overall, nice, if basic. Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy red/amber pour with a thin pink head, aroma has stewed dark fruits, taste has some tart dark fruit, quite sweet as well almost jammy, some grain, buttered toast, hoping for more. teorn88 (7671) - Rimini, ITALY - JAN 12, 2013
On tap at Brewdog Shoreditch. It pours a clear light ruby colour with virtually no head and only a thin ring of pinkish bubbles on the side of the glass. Aroma is extremely vinegarish, almost in Rodenbach style but in a bad way. Too harsh at the beginning. As the base beer, though, this ones opens up after some time and becomes more fruity and pleasant in the nose as well. Taste is a bit bland with good acidity, not overpowering as the base beer, and some red berry notes. But no depth of flavors in this one. Body is thin with good carbonation. Overall, decent but lacks balance and complexity.

Light red with no head. Flavour has some glacé cherries and quite a bit of smoke and leather. Strange. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JUL 20, 2016
UPDATED: JUL 20, 2016 Traditional ale like. Some yeast, lots of wood. Very dry, maybe a bit too subtle sour. Will developed, not really to cherry like, but it sure adds character. Great woody brew.
