Bottle shared at September THT. Thin pink head. Cloudy red pour. Sour tart cherry aftertaste

No head; flamingo to pale cyclamen red, clear beer, no carbonation visible. Liquorice, toasted waffles; fruit only as a faint aroma, or fruitdrink as Hero. Sweetish, bit dull, until the finish where fruitacids finally appear. Aromacomponents, including retronasal are terribly lacking. Very light, obviously. MF doesn’t give any carbonation either. I hoped for far better, seen the name.

Svesse (8767) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JAN 7, 2013
(Draught at King William IV, Leyton, London, 22 Nov 2012) Hazy red colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, sour nose with notes of cherries, red fruit and a fairly fresh acidity. Fruity, tart taste with cherries, red fruit and a dry, fresh acidity in the finish. Light body, quite dry and tart. Low bitterness. A bit weird, but quite drinkable and refreshing. Nice one.

jackl (8417) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 15, 2012
Keg @ The Cock Tavern. The pour’s medium hazy red with a tiny white head. The nose is sharp acetic lemon juice, bright sugar, soft fruit and malevolent buggy aromas. The taste is very tart, sour cherry and lemon rind. Hints of sweet sugar and marshmallow. Pissy wheat tang on the finish. Light body, refreshing. Overall, nice, if basic.

RichTheVillan (8220) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 26, 2015
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy red/amber pour with a thin pink head, aroma has stewed dark fruits, taste has some tart dark fruit, quite sweet as well almost jammy, some grain, buttered toast, hoping for more.

teorn88 (8066) - Rimini, ITALY - JAN 12, 2013
On tap at Brewdog Shoreditch. It pours a clear light ruby colour with virtually no head and only a thin ring of pinkish bubbles on the side of the glass. Aroma is extremely vinegarish, almost in Rodenbach style but in a bad way. Too harsh at the beginning. As the base beer, though, this ones opens up after some time and becomes more fruity and pleasant in the nose as well. Taste is a bit bland with good acidity, not overpowering as the base beer, and some red berry notes. But no depth of flavors in this one. Body is thin with good carbonation. Overall, decent but lacks balance and complexity.

Light red with no head. Flavour has some glacé cherries and quite a bit of smoke and leather. Strange.

Maakun (6428) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - SEP 11, 2015
UPDATED: SEP 12, 2015 Bottle at THT. Nice light pink with small light pinkish white head. Sour cherries, light dough, funk, rubber, touch of seawater. Medium sour and light sweet fruits. Light bodied. Meh.

erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JUL 20, 2016
UPDATED: JUL 20, 2016 Traditional ale like. Some yeast, lots of wood. Very dry, maybe a bit too subtle sour. Will developed, not really to cherry like, but it sure adds character. Great woody brew. (15cl pour at the sour beer tasting event at M-Cafe Leuven)

3.2
JulienHuxley (5933) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 11, 2015
Bottle at THT. Amber pour hazy, white head. Aroma is cherry, dusty, vegetal notes. Taste is tart, fruity cherry, dusty notes. Palate is med light bodied with good carbonation. Decent.
