UPDATED: JUL 20, 2016 Traditional ale like. Some yeast, lots of wood. Very dry, maybe a bit too subtle sour. Will developed, not really to cherry like, but it sure adds character. Great woody brew. Light red with no head. Flavour has some glacé cherries and quite a bit of smoke and leather. Strange. SVD (2270) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 1, 2016

On keg, King William IV, Leyton, London, 9/1/2016. Pre-family meal.
Excellent sour notes. Very much like a Frank Boon gueuze. Bone dry. Loads of cherry-cola on the tongue. Nice carbonation. Like a bottled beer. Not ott not too soft. Great drinkability. The lactose was there but it was not at all heavy or prominent which is exactly how lactose should be. I did get a huge abundance of cherry-cola and I thoroughly enjoyed this. Excellent. deanso (10292) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - SEP 12, 2015

Sampled from bottle @ Hey Julien is back and Dean’s floor is moist tasting. Clear pink to red color, medium sized off-white to pinkish head. Smell and taste sourish, cherries, sour red fruit. Like it, nice one. chimpgibbon (577) - London, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 13, 2015
Keg at Old Coffee House. Buttery, little sherbet, only mild, slightly watery cherry vibes. Not really much sourness or tartness here. That said, once the wet yeast vibes die down it’s pretty drinkable. Overall a rare fail for a Brodies sour sadly.
