3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask (handpump) at Brodies festival, King William IV, Leyton on 8 April 2012. Pale straw colour. Thin and a little tart. Quite lemony. OK but didn’t grab me that much. Perhaps I just wasn’t in the mood for this sort of beer.
Bottle from Beer Gonzo, Coventry. Hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is lemon, slight funky and earth. taste is tartish and light sugar. zacgillbanks (5651) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - DEC 24, 2013
Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. This is a hazy straw coloured beer with an initial sharp lemon bitterness, with delicate citrus notes and a woody hop and tart finish. Very good for a low ABV beer. gunnfryd (15474) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 4, 2013

Bottle, from Cotteridge Wines, consumed at home 15/09/13.
Lightly obscured pale golden with a moderate to thin white head.
Nose is lemon rind, tarte grapes, earthy, mineral notes, light sugar, damp straw.
Taste comprises tarte grape skins, lemon rind, damp grass and straw, farmy earthy notes, big mineral bite.
Light in body, quite watery and thin, prickly carbonation.
Ok Berliner Weisse, refreshing enough but not top draw. fonefan (52342) - VestJylland, DENMARK - SEP 4, 2013

[ Trade by madmitch76 ]. Clear light to medium yellow colour with fizzy - virtually none, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate wheat, light earthy, light tart, odd fruity - but not milky or citrus tart as normal berliner weisse. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, yeasty, baking yeast, odd fruity. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. This is odd !!
Very pale with little head. Tart and almost salty. Some lemon and a little wet dog. Slightly funky with wet hay. Drinkable. DruncanVeasey (8401) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - AUG 18, 2013
Beer Gonzo. Cute little miniature wine bottle drunk straight from the bottle whilst the missus was driving. Murky apricot with little head. Sour, slightly cheesy dank nose with hints of flowers, lambic, Prosecco and strawberry, Chewits. Medium tart yeasty effort with lime and cream cheese dankness, dapples of cider and white wine acidity; dry roasted peanut, wisp of smoke. Getting some pink chocolate mouse. Complex. Wet biscuit finish. Bit like a crazy BC bitter or Tunnel hefe gone wrong. Brave attempt. DanielBrown (4563) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 3, 2013
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines. After a lot of HARD sniffing, I detected a pleasant fruit in the nose. Taste is almost tasteless. Yes, there is some sourness, but it’s spread on the back of anaglypta wallpaper. Crushing. Povester (13) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 4, 2013
From Cotteridge Wines. No head. Yellow cloudy/hazy appearance. Fizzy. Sweet taste, no lasting after taste. Easy to drink saxo (19569) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUN 29, 2013
Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden with stringy yeast buggers in the bottom. Aroma and taste are sour malt, vinegar, yeast, yoghurt and little cheese. Disappointing.
