Sample @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Pours dark brown, almost black, with a small brownish white head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and tiny sour with roasted malts, dark bread, liquorice root, hay, red berries, lemon zest and cereal. Taste is sweet, bitter and slightly sour with roasted malts, dark bread, coffee, blackberries, liquorice, lemon zest, prunes, red berries and dark grapes. Mouthfeel is slightly tart, slightly dry and medium bodied.
