Pours black with a low creamy tan head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, honey, hay / stable, dark red berries. Taste is dark red berries, vanilla, stable / hay, coffee, honey. Mouthfeel is suprisingly thin with low carbonation. Aftertaste is coffee and sour berries. Not that good unfortunately. omhper (26213) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAR 18, 2014
Keg at Mikkeller Bar, Stockholm. Opaque black, rich creamy beige head. Aroma of leather and espresso. Full nodied with rounded mouthfeel. Licorice, coffee and cream. Heavily roastiness lingers in a warming finish where everything else camouflages the bitterness. gyllenbock (10355) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 17, 2014
On tap at Mikkeller Bar Stockholm opening.
Black with a tan head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, ash, licorice, some coffee and light berries. The finish was bitter and dry. A descent one.

App: Black with a brown head.
Aroma: Roasted and woody with coffee, licorice and tart berries.
Taste: Pretty same thing going on here. Roasted sweetness with chocolate, coffe and some sweet licorice drying out with tart berries to a woody finish.
Palate: Medium to big, soft to tickling carbonation, slight sticky.
Overall: I’m not a fan of tart stouts really.
Pour was very dark with a tanned head. Taste was quite bitter but the finish was rather fruity.

Draft at Churchkey. Not sure about licorice or cranberry in this keg? Rich, dark black pour with a dense, thick beige head. Nose is gorgeous, Beautiful bitter roasted malt, dark chocolate, hints of cherry, touches of anise, plum, cocoa powder. Just really good. I’m jamming on this shit right now. Velvety and smooth, but dry on the finish. All about it. johndoughty (5609) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2013
Bottle. Black with a medium head. Hoppy with plenty of body.More like a black IPA than a stout. Superb. The_Osprey (9999) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 30, 2013
Keg at opening of the new Brewdog bar in Shepherd’s Bush. Short review due to session. Black with a foamy tan head. Smell - chemical/crayon, chocolate, citrus. Body is medium to big. Taste - is smoke and tar to start, chocolatey, finish is lots of citrus - orange and kiwi (the flavour isn’t obviously cranberry, but it is definitely fruity). Alcohol is present but doesn’t seem 10%. Unusual stout bordering on a double black IPA. Drinkability is low and it comes across as a bit harsh. Good though. thewolf (13067) - Kolding, DENMARK - NOV 9, 2013
Bottle, bought @ Mikkeller and Friends, Cph. Pours deep black with a firm, creamy, beige head. Aroma has liqourice, cranberry, roasted, light vinious. Light salty. Medium carbonation, fine dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of roasted malts, dark chocolate, lots of liqourice with a salty edge. Vinious and quite dry and warming finish. Lovely.
