Bunny Basher 3 at the King William. Somewhat confused when I drank this beer - was thinking it was the Cherry Licquorice stout and I could taste neither!! - Opaque dark brown beer, residual tan head. Smooth semi dry palate. Rich dark malt, tangy. A little woody and spicy. Dried tangy fruits underneath - but not cherry and I’m not picking up any licorice. A rich tangy stout - tasty!

Keg at the King William IV. Smooth palate, mild fine carbonation. Creamy dark malt, mild roast, coffee and unsweet dark chocolate. The fruity cranberry in the background teases and provides counterpoint. Finishes smooth and creamy with a mild carbonated bite and mild hop bitterness. Really well joined up and sumptuous.
Draft at Churchkey. Opaque brown color, tan head. Aroma of bitter cocoa, espresso, burnt licorice. Taste is unsweetened cocoa, espresso grounds. Very tasty. cgarvieuk (26868) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 24, 2012

pre-gbbf shindig 2012. Very deep brown, close to black colour with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is caramel, fruits, liquorice, some berries, mild tartness and quite much roasted malts as well. Flavour is fruity, berryish, roasted malts, some toffee and alcohol nicely fitting in.
Keg at Mikkeller Bar, Stockholm. Opaque black, rich creamy beige head. Aroma of leather and espresso. Full nodied with rounded mouthfeel. Licorice, coffee and cream. Heavily roastiness lingers in a warming finish where everything else camouflages the bitterness.
