500 ml bottle. Pours an amber colour with a small head. Aroma of biscuit, floral notes and caramel. Flavour of floral bitterness, some cardboard, orange sweetness, grass and straw. Light bodied. A bit thin mouthfeel. Not as fresh as it should be.

Cask at the Old Coffee House. Hazy yellow, still, small foamy white head, full lacing. Aroma is citrus, slight feet, lightly cheesy, neoprene. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is spice, rubber, citrussy lemon, hint of vegetable rot, light bitterness. This was in less than perfect condition.

A lovely ale to consume. Unfortuntly for me, it was far too nice, cos it was simply made to be quaffed down, even at the strength of 5%

Theydon_Bois (19510) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - DEC 8, 2014
Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’14, day 1, 02/12/14. Clear golden blonde with a decent off white covering that retains well. Nose is citric pith, melon, lemon rind, straw, tangerine, mellow tropicana. Taste comprises light pine needle, mandarin, straw, satsuma. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with hop bitterness evident. Decent hoppy cask juice from Brodies.

Backlog rating. Cask at Old Coffee House, London. It pours a slightly hazy pale straw color with a small white head. Aroma is soppy, with notes of pineapple, grass, hay and citrus. Taste is mildly bitter and lightly tangy in the finish, with notes of grapefruit peel and ripe peaches. Light bodied with good carbonation. Overall, quite tasty

Cask at the King William IV, bright pale gold, peppery aromatic hops, crisply and freshly bitter, golden malt, dry with light grapefruit notes, superb.

Aroma: flowers and grass, very light citrus. Appearance: slightly hazy, almost clear yellow, small, frothy, white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: flowery sweets continue, fruity, citrus, turning dry in the finish. Overall: very nice APA, bit light in aroma. Pint at the Old Coffee House, Soho.

3.5
McNeillR (2315) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 18, 2014
Crystal clear golden with a loose film and ringed white head. Oddly dusty fizz to the creamy fruit noise. Melon meringue initial taste before opening up to a sweet and tightly cropped dry citrus clink. Clean and neat sweetness throughout without being overly cloying or bitter. Nice tandem in the finish, similarly sweet and tutti fruiti.
