Hazy orange color, small white head, Juicy pineapple, citrus aroma. Light-bodied. Pineapple, passion fruit, gooseberry and citrus in the flavor. Pale malty. Short finish. Quite sessionable "proto-Vermont".
September 24, 2015 - at The Old Coffee House (Soho) - Handpull cask pint - 11:15 a.m. and don’t judge me I’m on vacation! Bright deep gold with a nice off-white mottled lasting head. Smells great - heather and honey but fresh clover and redolent with an overlay of cannabis pungency - terrific, if a bit light overall. Taste follows - a bit more sweetness and less clover and bitterness - nice; chewy, airy, enough hops in it to finish with some astringency, grapefruit pith and more cat in the aftertaste. Cask at The Bow Bar. On my tod just before meeting Rachel & Ben at Howies. Love that boozer. A misty wee Yellow half. Nice citrus to the nose. Pleasant malty and flat beer the likes of which are so common in the UK and impossible to find in Prague. I enjoyed my return.
