(Bottle) Pours muddy brown with an off-white head. The aroma holds nuts, chemicals, cookies, mild citrus, fruits, earth, wood and light herbs. Ethereal (2421) - Los Angeles, California, USA - AUG 9, 2011
500ml bottle from the brewery, drunk at home, 20th Dec 2010. Hazy orange with a persistent white head. Very strong pecan nose and taste. Almost woody. Medium palate. Not much beyond the nuts. Agree with madmitch on the mineral finish.

harrisoni (18817) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 4, 2011
500 ml bottle bought at the brewpub and drunk watching Man Utd vs Schalke. Clear mid brown colour with thin white head. Nutty slight must aroma but musty like the aroma of the inside of a nut shell. Yes definite pecan on the finish which is tasty. Its a mid brown bitter with a heavy rich nutty influence. Really nutty anf maybe just a bit too rich for me.

chriso (7569) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2011
From bottle at Brodies Autumn Festival at the William IV on 4 September 2010. Murky amber appearance. Big fluffy head. Slight touch of nut. Just a touch. Some toffee in the flavour but there some tangy hops to offset that. Ends up quite well balanced and drinkable enough without making that much of an impression.

Ungstrup (37885) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 1, 2010
