KEg at The Hanging Bat. Hazy Orange. Citrus and Rubber. Sake is there. Tastes a bit like it’s cut with herbal tea. Boozy. Not well put together. Beersiveknown (5301) - NORTHERN IRELAND - JUL 16, 2013

Golden, white haze, some lacing
Nose - slight funky smell, odd yeast, soft zesty fruit
Taste of rough hops, harsh bitter notes, mineraly and flinty, soft pale malt, though this was undrinkable at first but sort of got into it a bit down the glass, still not keen, very rough flavour
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, very bitter, harsh. Finish as main flavour.
Overall - Not a fan of this at all - thought it was rather poor
Tap at bat. Golden with white head. Strange plastic aroma, cleaning products, citrus. Taste has weird plastic again. Nice mouthfeel and bitterness. Not in to the hops. Leighton (22027) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 15, 2013
Keg at the Cock Tavern - Hackney, London. Pours lightly hazy gold, effervescent, with a frothy white cap. Nose has some lime, a bit of white bred, boozy sake. Ligh sweet flavor, some semi-dry cotrus, white rice, pale malts. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate bitterness to finish, some dry citrus fuits, some funky peach. Interesting. UPDATED: FEB 15, 2014 Aroma: weird, must be the Sake, some yeast and citrus fruits. Appearance: hazy gold, medium frothy head. Taste: sweet, bitter, all over the place. Palate: weird again, light carbonation, some bitterness and leaving a honestly bad aftertaste. Overall: not my cup of tea. At the King William Brewpub. Keg. Very hazy gold beer, good white head. Palate is slightly soft and semi dry with fine minerally carbonation. Tangy lemon, lemon cream and a strong lemon sherbet. Finishes crispy and tangy with a slight salty note. The lemon sherbet gets even stronger on the finish and lasts for ages. Could still taste it half hour later. Intriguing and tasty beer!
