Clear medium yellow colour with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, pale malt, moderate to light heavy hoppy, pine, grapefruit, riped fruit - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet, light acidic and moderate to light light heavy bitter with a long duration, sour citrus, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111205]

Cask at William IV. Blond and slightly cloudy, not much head. Quite thin. Aroma is bit grapefruit, lemon citrus. Tastes a bit boozy, not sure why. Finish is bitter. Quite refreshing, but not wild about it.

Cask Conditioned Handpump Southampton Arms London. A slightly hazy straw coloured beer with white head from a little head. Big grapefruit citrus in the nose. A decent body with burpy hops. Sharp and bitter but never harsh. Well brewed. Tasty.

At King William. Cloudy gold beer, residual white head. Light semi dry palate, very moderate carbonation. Good hops grassy bitter with touches of orange and lemon citrus. Semi dry finish with lots of hop bitterness. Refreshing well hopped beer.
