(Draught at King William IV, Leyton, London, 25 Apr 2013) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Spicy, yeasty nose with brett, coriander, Indian spices, cumin and bready malt. Malty, spicy taste with notes of wild yeast, grass, spices, coriander and a gentle, spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, fairly dry. Quite different, even for a saison, but a nice one. Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - APR 11, 2013
Keg at PSBH, Manchester. Hazy orange with a white cap and nice lacing. Very pleasant hoppy citrus aroma with hints of spice coming through. Taste is hop bitter with spice coming through midway. I’m sure this tasted like tomato. Beer and tomato are strange bedfellows but it made for something interesting. Nice effort, if a bit weird. madmitch76 (24788) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAR 3, 2013

At the King William Brew Pub. Hazy gold beer, small cream coloured head. Palate is crispy with sharp minerals. Sweetish orange and peach. Trace of banana. A little fruit tang. Peppery spice before a light crisp finish. Nice contrast of tangy fruits and spice.
Keg @ Stormbird, Camberwell. The pour’s hazy amber with a small head. The nose is bright mashed banana, farmyard, countryside, saison yeast. Light ginger and general funk. The taste is lemon zest, ripe banana, general spice rack and bitter, earthy hop. More barnyard funkiness. Hints of mint. Medium body, fine carbonation. Overall, a bit heavy handed, but still enjoyable. Theydon_Bois (19481) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - FEB 16, 2013
