2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
On cask (handpump) at the Southampton Arms on 26 July 2010. Dark brown colour. Flat. No head. Slightly roasty aroma. Hint of diacetyl. Dry and chocolatey on the palate. Quite bitter. The idea of a light stout for Summer drinking is an interesting one but I can’t say I was particularly impressed. Condition didn’t seem to too great though. Flagged for re-rate.
