Cask at Old Coffee House, London. It pours hazy golden with a bubbly white head. The nose is urine, wheat, light manure, sulphur and some citrus. The taste is wheat, urine, dough, pithy citrus, grapefruit, decent bitterness, straw and hay with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. The pungent smell is a bit off-putting, but the taste is pretty good. Perhaps the cask is a bit old?? So-so.

Leighton (20822) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2012
Cask at the Old Coffee House, London. Pours hazy gold with a small, white foam head. Fresh, citrusy nose with hints of urine and wheat. Medium sweet flavor with light dry pale malts, pee, wheat, faint grass, juicy melon, hints of banana and papaya. Light to medium bodied wth fine carbonation. Good condition. Sweet, lightly sticky and resinous finish, more pissy hops, some lightly sugary wheat, mild dry grass and hay. Great stuff. Very well balanced.
