Bottle. Teku. Deep brown/reddish with big, semi-densed, lighlty brown head. Perfect lacing and head retention. Strong malty backbone aroma, medium belgian yests, after few whiles in the glass you can feel nice coffee aromas. Slightly boozy character in the backgroung. Neither coffee acidicy nor bitterness. Bottle from Dranken Verheyen in Poppel. The beer very dark brown to black colored and pours a large and stable cream colored head. In the aroma subtle notes of coffee. It even has some fruity hints of apples and pears. After a while some chocolate is noticable. The taste is full and rich which clear coffee and cacao notes. In the background a rich and soft fruitiness which makes this beer well balanced. The finish is pleasant with a decent bitter espresso and licorice tones, that you continue to enjoy.
