aroma has caramel and hints of chocolat, some coffee, but i wouldn’t call it espresso, and certainly not double espresso! there’s is however quite some fruit in there! very nice dubbel

Fles geprobeerd met Roelzie1986. Het is een caramelachtig bruin bier, tijdens het inschenken behoorlijk schuimend maar dit wordt snel minder. Aroma van koffie en gist. De smaak van koffie met heel veel koolzuur.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2017 .330 bottle at home. Appearance - dark reddish-brown with a medium head. Aroma - very plain; coffee and some brown sugar. Palate - medium-light body, medium carbonation, no hop bitterness, some smoothiness. Taste - coffee beans, brown sugar sweetness, very discreetly spicy, some caramel and some vague hints of vanilla. Aftertaste - rather long, some more of the coffee bitterness, some sweetness and spiciness. Overall - an average beer, quite plain, with a strong coffee influence, although it isn't too polarizing. You could say it is a watery coffee drink.

Sötétbarna szín, nem túl tartós, közepes, bézs hab. Kávés, karamelles, enyhén aszalt gyömölcsös illat. Kávés, karamelles, sötétgyümölcsös ízek. Közepesen testes, erősen szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Nem rossz, de nincs igazi összhang.

Brown color with a bit of tan foam. Aroma has some bright stonefruit notes, fermented fruits and brown sugar. Taste has some stale caramelised malt notes, dusty yeast, fruity notes on the finish. Light body with medium carbonation. Quite stale and generic.

needs to be served very cold to taste every bit of it. I tasted it warm and it didn’t show all of the flavor. Palate is the first thing that surprises me. I thougth this would be a thicker beer but it’s a very thin, flat short texture/finish. I quite like the taste but it’s not the hardcorecoffeebeer I was looking for. It reminds me of a cold espresso you down in 2 sips while wondering why you didn’t order a real coffee. the appearance is really promising but the taste isn’t as awesome as I expected. It’s not that bad but I really had my hopes up for this one.
