needs to be served very cold to taste every bit of it. I tasted it warm and it didn’t show all of the flavor. Palate is the first thing that surprises me. I thougth this would be a thicker beer but it’s a very thin, flat short texture/finish. I quite like the taste but it’s not the hardcorecoffeebeer I was looking for. It reminds me of a cold espresso you down in 2 sips while wondering why you didn’t order a real coffee. the appearance is really promising but the taste isn’t as awesome as I expected. It’s not that bad but I really had my hopes up for this one.

Aroma is dominated by cold coffee.Taste of mild burnt sugar, some slight herbal and mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is big on the coffee, but quite mild on anything else, apart from a wee bit of spicy yeast in the finish. Cold cofee all over.

Bottled (MT/KS/MB February tasting). Deep ambery brown colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is coffee, mild burnt sugar, some slight herbal and mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is big on the coffee, but quite mild on anything else, apart from a wee bit of spicy yeast in the finish. One dimensional, but still quite tasty.

Many thanks for this beer to Eric De Geyter. Butelka 0,75cl. Jak espresso i podwojne to oczekuje mocno palonego kwaskowo gozkiego smaku, zreszta ja espresso pijam bez zadnych dodatkow, a tymbardziej cukru. Lekkie rozczarowanie. Piana i ladna lakierowana butelka w ogolnej ocenie ratuje calosc.

Muddy brown, no head. Aroma of instant coffee, green peas and soil. More instant coffee in the taste, moderate bitterness, watery.

Bottle 330 ml, Bucharest at Bistro GUXT. Hazy brown, some red tinge, tan head. Aroma is coffee, caramel, some chocolate. Also bitter and pine resin hints, roasted, acid and fruity hints aswell. Taste is coffee, caramel, some bitterness, some minerality, acidic, chocolate and fruity notes. A pretty decent beer, pretty well balanced and interesting... maybe a little flat.

Bottle. Dark brown, beige head. Aroma: coffee, mint, caramel, sweet bread. Taste is sweet, bread, coffee, caramel. High carbonation, and watery texture. A bit too much carbonation for me.
