Ruikt friszoet.

Bottle 33cl. poured into a teku glass. Clear amber brown, small frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, minimal lacing; aroma roasted malts, caramel, brown sugar, raisins; thin mouthfeel, taste medium sweet and light bitter, sweet malts, caramel, spicy notes; malty sweetbitter aftertaste, caramel, metallic notes; medium body, watery texture, average carbonation; lacks body and character, so so.

goozen (4071) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - NOV 13, 2016
Tap at Cafe Hesp, Amsterdam: Clear Brown colored brew with an dry bitter taste with some hints of caramel. Typical Belgian Dunkel Bock it lacks the sweetness of the Dutch ones.

Light brown colour with thin head. Certainly a very mild tasting beer. Light maltiness, minimal sweetness. Ok but lacks depth, complexity and flavour.

skortila (5875) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - OCT 22, 2016
Bottled. 20cl sample. The aroma has caramel, some fruit, bit grain. Bit hazy, amber coloured beer with a medium sized white head. The taste is sweet and light bitter and has caramel, spicey (cinnamon, cardamom) tones. Light-medium bodied beer. Boring.

The Dutch make better bocks it seems. Not a lot of flavor, not a lot of anything really. at the Woerden Bockbeerfestival.
