14 oz at the brewery. Pretty dark body on this one with a tan head. Rich, genuine coffee is in the aroma with a heavy use of cacao nibs to back it up. The palate is creamy and full with medium carbonation. I’m very impressed with this one. Tons of coffee takes over the flavor with pleasant authenticity. So much cacao bean character is apparent it makes the beer take on a nutty character. Halfway through the glass I get assertive vanilla suggestions. The whole thing is over the top without being too sweet or unpleasant in any form or fashion. Really enjoyable. markducommun (1228) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 5, 2017
Clear dark brown, light tan head. Chocolate and peanut butter dominate the nose. Not terribly much coffee present. Somewhat bitter, quite dry. Medium body, long finish, a bit oily. Fine. ajnepple (7191) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 17, 2016
On tap at the brewery. Black appearance with a light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, roasted malts and earthy hops. Similar flavor, rich and dark with a mild to moderate sweetness balanced by a mild bitterness. Medium body with a smooth, creamy feel and a rich finish. Nicely done. onceblind (10698) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 30, 2015
Black pour with a thin beige head. Loads of chocolate and a fair bit of coffee on the sumptuous dessert-like nose. Delightful flavor with milk chocolate, coffee, gentle roasted malt tones and a creamy sweet finish. Loads of coffee and loads of chocolate on the flavor. Really swell. kevinator (2792) - The Colony, Texas, USA - AUG 12, 2015
