Chugach Session is a cream ale, brewed cool like a lager. Think of it as an American Kolsch: balanced and easy drinking. It is the lightest beer on our menu.

At Capital Brew fest. Mini snifter. The appearance was a nice looking semi - clear yellow color with a spotty lacing speckling the sides of the glass. The smell was sweet with a decent corn malt and a light grainy / grassy wheatiness coming on it. The taste was once again sweet through the corn. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. This one had a decent carbonation about it. It was nice and smooth as a good cream ale should be. Overall, good for the style and am glad I was able to try more than enough amounts of this today. I’d have again and am hoping for the day when Broken Tooth will actually sends their cans to Juneau.
