Medium body and carbonation. jercraigs (10731) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 11, 2008
2008-09-06. Very dark brown body with a small off-white head. Flavour is fruiter than I would expect from a brown ale (I am starting to suspect the house yeast?). Sweet malt base, very light roast malt. Aroma is similarly malt forward with a light roasty toasty malt, and hints of caramel. Average palate. Decent. On tap at the brewpub. mabel (9245) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 18, 2008
[1683-20080906] Tap. Mild grain and mild chocolate aroma notes. Clear, dark red brown body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. More grainy chocolate malt in the flavour. Medium body. Nice brown.

On draft at the brewpub 7/6/05: Shiny red/brown. Thin bodied, but the crisp and bitter flavors make up for it. Nice woody/nutty tones. Very good.

Poured into a mug, the appearance was a semi-dark brown color with some red hues along the sides. A finger’s worth of white foamy head started and died off at a fairly nice pace. Messy lace.
The aroma had some chocolate, sweet and somewhat milky, with a mild bready malt with some dark fruits and a touch of earthy hops.
The flavor keeps the same previously mentioned aromas to hit a nice blend into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with fair sessionable sort of smooth milky/creamy feel. Decent carbonation. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, good brown ale worthy of having again. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - APR 2, 2012
Light brown in color, clear with a thin head. Watery in the flavor this beer needed more work. More a beer for the masses than a good tasty brew for the geeks. Light in the malt. SHIG (4964) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - JUL 14, 2013
Draft: Poured a brown with red edges, the head was off white. Aroma is sweet caramel malt. Taste sweet caramel very malt. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - JUL 9, 2007
