(tap) amber with small white head; aroma mostly pine; flavour predominantly bitter but pleasant, one of the better offerings of this brewer

savnac (2391) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - MAY 6, 2009
On tap @ the Bear’s Tooth. Aroma is lightly citrus hops and there is also a malt presence. Golden orange with a small white head. Flavor is slightly bitter with a sweet backbone. Light to medium bodied with a crisp refreshing mouth feel mainly due to the active carbonation. Very drinkable and not overly hoppy which makes this appeal to someone that might be new to craft beer.

2008-09-06. Dark yellow body with a small white head, some lacing. Pleasant light bitterness, moderate hops, light resin and citrus. Enough bitterness and hops to leave a pleasant hoppy aftertaste. Light sweet fruit undertones are nice initially but become a distraction further on. (6+) Aroma has moderate hop character, light citrus and muted malts. (6+) Average palate. On tap at the brewpub.
