Light red orange. White head but doesn’t last long. Raspberry aroma is strong and wheat shows through. Taste is about the same. Light bodied, tart after taste. Good for someone who favors fruit beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy purple with a white head. Strong aroma of sweet raspberries. Flavor is also very strong with raspberries, but not overly sweet. Somewhat dry hoppy finish.

A nice sweet alternative to the heavier beers. Goes down easy with a flavor that isn’t over done, just enough for your tastebuds to remember.

The Moose’s Tooth Brewery serves the best pizza in town, along with some of the most amazing beer. If you are a fan of fruitty beer, this will be perfect for you.

From a sample at the Moose’s tooth. Hazy reddish color with a thin white head. Very fresh real raspberry nose. Flavor is dominated by the raspberry. This does not have the artificial syrup flavor that plagues most fruit beers, but it is so fruit dominated as to obscure its beer-ness. The finish dries out to a hoppy raspberry, but it is still all about the berry.

puzzl (3260) - New York, New York, USA - JUL 22, 2005
A different and popular beer at the Moose’s Tooth. Color has a nice purple tinge that suits the raspberry addition well. Raspberry dominates the aroma and flavor all the way through but it gives the beer a nice tartness and is certainly enjoyable, though the palate is a bit distracting with too muh carbonation and bite.
