Sarkynorthener 5k and faggots tasting night. Bottle from Beerwulf and shared with Richthevillan. Brown beer with small head. Aroma of smoked bacon and brown bread. Taste is pretty much the same. Ok.

Bottle during Sarkynorthener 5k and Faggot night cheers Martin; hazy dark brown pour with a big bubbly magnolia head, aroma has smoke and sweet malts, taste has smoked meats, sweet caramel, not a style for me.

Like the overall taste of smoky ness and earthy flavors. Good one for when it’s cold outside ---Rat via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl Bottle Appearance: A cloudy amber body, with a nice creamy head. Aromas: smoke, malts, flowers, leather, burned rubber. Taste: starts sweet, malts, caramel, tabco, then some herbal bitterness and smoke kicks, a bit of light leather and a hint of burned rubber. Low carbonation, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied. Good smoked beer.

Bottle from Monster Magnet. EU Local Swap. Thank you. Darkest chestnut. Almost opaque. Thick foamy beige head. Hazy smoky aroma. Initial sweet and sour, tart berries and stewed fruit - took me back on my first sip. The smoke then defines the finish, which is tangy and pleasant. Light-medium bodied. Slick - the smokiness gives an impression of adding to the mouthfeel. Average carbonation. Long finish. Hadn't noticed that this was smoked. But as I like a smoked beer that is no be thing. More interesting than any of the other Alts I've tried.

SVD (2275) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 26, 2017
Bottle at home, brown beer, small head. Aroma is smoke, smoked ham, malt. Taste is the same, sweetish bitter. ok

EvNa (649) - Ede, NETHERLANDS - MAY 29, 2017
UPDATED: MAY 29, 2017 Bottle. Color: Dark ruby, bit hazy, frothy beige head. Taste: Rather complex mix of medium sweet and mildly sour notes, smoke, woody, hints of overripe red fruit (berries) and brown sugar. Dry mouthfeel at finish. Medium to full body, low carbonation. Very nice beer, unusual taste.

jerohen (2380) - Bussum, NETHERLANDS - FEB 24, 2017
Bottled from HetBierMoment. Light brown colored, big beige head, nice. Strong smoky nose, roasted malts, impressive. Pleasant smoky flavor, roasted malts, substantially sweeter than the Schlenkerla beers, thick mouthfeel, remarkably complex for a 6.5% ABV beer. A new angle on the Bamberg smoky beers, i actually like it a lot.

martjoobolut (5468) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 2, 2016
Bottle, batch ALT-334 (from het biermoment). Pours dark amber with beige head. The head stays. Aroma is intense smoke, sausages, tar, malt, some fruits. Flavor is sweet and bitter, fruits, smoke, malt, bacon, caramel. Finish is long sweet, fruits, and tar. Overall: good, but bit too sweet, also more smoked than alt.
