Ölsellskapet med BGU, CJK, JOB och Susanne. En Kölsch ser man på. För kall. Svagarom, fin färg och platt smak. Skall inte komma mitt i en serie IPA direkt. Svårbedömd men ok. På burkbråk med den spelglade kyparen från kråkan.

DATE: Abita pint... OCCASION: Cavs/Warriors Game Four... do the Cavs have an easy one in them? Or is this history for both teams? GLASSWARE: Abita pint... pours a clear, sallow golden body with a modicum of bubbles... the sizzle of the the single-finger off-white head to a coral reach of lacing... swampiness across the top of the head... lemon citrus, crisp dank earthiness that is slightly off-putting... not a lot of wheat suggestions here.... trying to sense some spice or hops, but a bitterness pervades... first sip is smooth, slightly effervescent, with second sips invited quickly... late maltiness is crisp like a cracker... flavor is malty, with some medicinal elements mixing with melon and flat flowery hops.... not sure I am getting this one correctly--an ale? too funky and quirky... too malty in spots, not enough wheat, etc.... a risner without a positive residual... not feeling this a bit... first taste of the Bronx Brewery... maybe better things are ahead...
