We love all kinds of farmhouse ales. But the original farmhouse ales weren’t big beers - they were beers you could drink while working in the hot sun all day. Our 1/2 ale reaches back to that tradition - it’s a dry, hoppy, citrusy, and delicious saison all at 3.4% Alc. By Vol. In fact, you CAN have everything.

Tap @ Beers & Barrels at the Harbour. Hazy light golden. Candy, sweet fruity, light malty. Smells amazing.

An interesting one. Bottled, it gives off the appearance of a brown ale, with the label style and all. However, it pours a pale yellow. For 3.4% ABV it packs a hell of a punch and is incredibly full bodied. Zesty, funky saison with massive citrus overtones. Lots of hop bitterness follows the highly carbonated mouthfeel, and a lasting impression of vanilla lingers too. Really took me off guard. Brilliant stuff.

danlo (3409) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - JAN 6, 2018
355ml bottle from NYC Grill, Darlington. Hazy golden colour, white foamy head and fruity yeasty aroma. Taste is pale malt and zesty citrus, yeasty. Thin mouthfeel, light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tangy finish. Quite OK

Bottle. Nice golden hazy color. Simple aroma, taste of grapefruit. Nice bitterness, but the interesting hoppy flavor lasting not long enough. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2017 Aroma is farmhouse dank, earthy yeast, with a little dark berry. Flavour is mild yeasty, spice and bitterness. Thought it was going to be darker for some reason

BeerViking (5187) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 26, 2017
Bottle from Lidl-Sweden - its ABV qualifies it for supermarket sales here. Pours hazy yellow-amber with a big foam and spicy-lemony aromas. Dry-sweet golden malt overlaid with more peppery spicy notes. Moderately bitter, with an earthy note balancing the slightly sweet fruitiness. Lovely.

rand (1920) - SWITZERLAND - SEP 24, 2017
Pale veiled blonde, sparkling but without nice collar. Aromas of herbs, grass, dill, lemon, yeast-bread. The taste is like, floral with dill, grass and yeast. Bitter adapted of citrus and zest, notes of pepper. Decent and light

Bottle. Chugged in seconds. Tasted like a generic and anorexic American take on a Belgian saison. Spicy and dry.
