COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Pennant Ale '55...Brooklyn Pennant Pale Ale '55 is a classic English pale ale, brewed with the prized Maris Otter Malt and Fuggles, Willamette and Cascade hops. Maris Otter is an old malt variety that yields an incomparable biscuity flavor. Pennant is chesnut-colored, medium in body with a hearty malt palate and smooth hop finish. This beer is a tribute to Brooklyns world champion baseball team.

Pours an opaque burnished copper. Not much head. Wet hay and skunks. This might suck. Toasty, nutty and sweet. The hops choice really does this in. Wet grass with a little funk. Semi-bitter finish. Its oddly drinkable and somehow unenjoyable at the same time. Pass.

BB backlog. Draft in NYC before my sisters wedding. Gotta take what you can get sometimes. Pours an orange golden with average head. Stale hops and honey caramel biscuits are the main tasting notes on this awful beer. Light bodied and forgettable

Looks like a lager but is half way to an ipa. Lightly hopped with a malty hint too. Very drinkable.

Crap. High priced crap at that. Makes Rolling Rock look good in comparison.
