Its winter at the moment but drinking American ale in winter is not good idea it seems very plae almost tasteless. If I would try it in summer to refresh myself or after sauna would be my favorite. Not this time. Long lasting foam was great, but thats it. Was hoping to feel some of thos citra and amarillo, but very far far away.

Canned, cold with a pizza, and a fine match it is! Quite pale, no head to speak of, easy drinking stuff, nice malt/hop balance.

Can from Sainsburys, Reading. Amber with a white head and a pleasant frothy fizz. Caramel, malt and light orange in a slightly thin body. Not much to it, but its a nice enough easy-drinker. More like. British bitter than an APA I thought.

Bottle, small bubbly head, quite clear and just a touch deep orange color, citrus and very light fruity aroma with just a hint of pine, light malty flavor with light herbal notes and a hint of barnyard. Fair and drinkable but not that interesting.

355ml Can at Our Black Heart. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of lemon peel, wort, bread. Flavour follows, tastes like a n/a beer. Not very good.

Can from Sainsburys. Metallic aroma, soapy head. Good backbone for the ABV...some malt and caramel against bitterness. Mid-carbonation. Its nothing special, but I dont really think its trying to be either. Straight up the middle: dependable and rather well rounded.

355ml can at home on 26th April 2017. Poured into an old Paderborner Gold Pilsner vase shaped glass. Golden pour, clean and clear, smooth white crown on top. Mild malty and light citrusy nose, taste on the same lines. Easy drinking brew and nicely balanced hop and malt wise.
