Brooklyn American Ale has more crystal malt than Summer Ale and is more heavily dry-hopped. The dry-hopping in Summer Ale is all Amarillo, while Brooklyn American Ale has a blend of Amarillo and Cascade.

It’s winter at the moment but drinking American ale in winter is not good idea it seems very plae almost tasteless. If I would try it in summer to refresh myself or after sauna would be my favorite. Not this time. Long lasting foam was great, but thats it. Was hoping to feel some of thos citra and amarillo, but very far far away.

330ml can. Terrible stuff. Cascade hops being raped by a shabby recipe. This tasted metallic. Wowe thanks for sending this , America

355ml can from Tesco. Big white head settles quickly, minimal lacing. Clear amber body. Light citrus on the nose, biscuit, straw. Flavour is malt dominated, biscuit, very faint lemon. Metallic tang on the aftertaste. Light carbonation, standard mouthfeel. Pretty bland.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2017 Hoppy caramel aroma. A non descript beer but inoffensive at the same time.

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2017 Draft at Bru Craft. Bright clear deep gold pour with off-white foam. Crisp but mild. Lightly toasted caramel malts. Modest mandarin hop bite. Maybe grass. Not much more to it. Tastes fine. Refreshing but unremarkable.

Pour is a clear tan with a large white head. Aroma is some sweet bland malt and not much else. Flavor is kind of the same. A sweet malt with ever so slight hop. A bit watery and bland. Crushable for sitting outside on nice summer evenings but that’s about it.

Bland in a decent way. Well carbonated tight head. Taste caramel butterscoth an ok alternative to lager at a bbq maybe?

Pale yellow, nose unassuming. Taste is light and easy to drink. Subtle fruit undertones. Unremarkable but drinkable
