Bottle. Aroma is way bigger than the flavour. The aroma is complex, with every non-New Zealand hop flavour being accounted for. The flavour is interesting, with stuff like tobacco and medicine, and pot, but it doesn't match up to the aroma.

Bottle at Harrys, Uddevall. Semi hazy golden, huge white head with yellow nuances, lots of lacings. Aroma is soft sweet malt with floral and tropical notes, citrus and flowers, as well as some dough and bread. Taste is medium sweet with lychee, flowery hoppy feel, slight peppery note and a dryness in the finish. Medium body with very rounded mouth feel, low carbo. 330ml served in a pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy golden color forming a medium but resistant light yellow head that leaves some lingering lacings in the glass. Nose os very fruity, very citric. Strong notes of grapefruit and zest. Some notes of pine, passion fruit, herb and sweet pale malts. Hints of caramel. Taste is slightly sweet in upfront. Strong notes of sweet pale malts, grapefruit, orange zest. Touches of pine and passion fruit. Medium bitterness for the style. Not the type of very caramel IIPA. Full body. Medium carbonation. Grassy, piney, citrus aftertaste. Good persistence. Good drinkability. Actually, you quite "light" to a 8.4% ABV. I was expecting it to be slightly sweeter and bitterer but although another great Ale from Brooklyn. rederic (3344) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 31, 2016
12oz bottle, slight hazy golden color, with a white head, nice zesty candied lemon, grapefruit peel nose with some light lemon marmalade, floral citrus, leafy hop accents, and a subtle honeyed pale, toasted malt note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a warmth zesty, spritzy candid lemon, grapefruit rind, good flowery citrus, leafy, grassy hoppy character, with some lemon marmalade, faint honeyed pale, toasted malt, lemon pie crust flavours, leading towards a warming zesty citrusy, good lingering citrus, leafy hop bitterness finish. 355ml bottle. Murky, orangey dark golden to amber colour with small to average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly perfumed, floral, hoppy aroma, notes of petals with flavours hard to elaborate further than "somehow purple", cautious citrusy fruity hints. Taste is slightly sweet malty with an almond touch, floral and slightly citrusy hoppy, moderate bitterness, notes of lemon, a touch of lime.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow gold body with a small fizzy white head that faded to a very thin ring. The nose is citrusy and slightly resiny hops with a pale malt base. The flavor is rather bracingly bitter up front at first, but the hop flavor emerges a bit with some citrusy fruitiness. A nice bready and doughy malt base that provides a nice backdrop for all the hops without being sweet or heavy on the caramel like a lot of DIPAs. Medium to full bodied with a softness to it that’s unusual for the style. Pretty nice beer, I could drop a few of these guys. Plovmand (8624) - Grindsted, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2016
Bottle. It pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Loads of caramel malts and some butter in the aroma mixed with fruity hops and marmalade. Sweet malty flavor with some citrus hoppy notes. Some fruity notes. Some alcoholic notes. Not very good. TheKernOwl (214) - West Sussex, ENGLAND - JUN 14, 2016
Nose has lots: caramel malt/mince pie sweetness; honey/spice of a Belgian tripel; somewhat piney fruit (orange juice; apricot; unripe mango). In the mouth, a tea-y/bread-y flavour; slightly fizzy, but also slightly cream-y afterwards. A slightly bitter citrus/apricot hop hum to finish. A little too balanced in favour of the malts (despite the variety of hops put into it), but very enjoyable. Put me in mind of Porterhouse’s “Brainblasta”, which is no bad thing, but that comparison may be off (and either way, this has way more hops in it). Feels more like a 7%-er than 8.4%, which is arguably quite a good thing.

On tap it has an amber color with a medium head. Aroma of tropical fruits and some malts. Taste has some hops, pine and some resin. Beer falls a bit flat for me. dojken (660) - SWEDEN - MAY 18, 2016
Flarra. Svag doft lite frukt o lite metall. Smaken hyfsad men något tunn. Det finns frukt o lite gräs men för lite. Det bästa med ölen är faktist efterbeskan som är bra balanserad med lång eftersmak.
