Bottle. Golden amber pour with a white head. Aroma of pine, resin, pineapple and orange. Flavour follows with less hops than expected and some sweet malt, but nice complex citrus and other light fruit flavours with resin and herbs. jw0406 (1304) - atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAY 27, 2014

Draught sample @ Akkurat, 22/5-14.
Orange amber, slight haze.
Grapefruit, oranges and litchi plus a toasty caramel maltiness with some pine on the nose.
Flavour is medium sweet and finishes dry with toasty/bready caramel and resiny grapefruit hops. Nice, even though not fantastic. borre_m (1707) - NORWAY - MAY 25, 2014
Sample at Haand. Pours clear golden. Aroma of grass and pine. In the taste I was expecting it to be a bit more hoppy, But it does have the grass and pine. Nicely balanced cards04 (2917) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 24, 2014
An excellent double IPA. Pours a nice peachy color with fizzy white head. Great tropical fruit nose. Then bready malts. Flavors are deceptively smooth for the high abv. Citrus and mango flavors with a seamless hoppy finish. Awesome.

Copper color in the glass. Floral and fruity hop aroma. Fairly sweet malt goes up against the hops on the palate, with a slightly heavy mouthfeel. Some nuts and toast from the malt as well. bubblehouse (1556) - louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAY 21, 2014
A nice imperial ipa. Good and hoppy with a very pleasant aroma. Has a nice head and legs. Nische (2505) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 19, 2014
Pours orange-gold with a thin off-white head. Aroma is fruity with pine and caramel. Taste is more of the same with nice hop/malt balance. Smooth finish, quite light on the bitterness. ronaldtheriot (1993) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - MAY 15, 2014
Brooklyn Blast has a thin-to-medium, off-white head, a rather hazy, somewhat bubbly, orange-gold appearance, and a few scattered lacing rings left on the glass. The aroma is of bursting, fruity, and bold sweet malt and hop oils, and the flavor is the same, with a pleasant and not harsh, but present and strong bitterness to balance the sweetness. No alcohol notes with this one. Brooklyn Blast! has a medium-to-heavy and slick mouthfeel, and it finishes on the puckering side and more drinkable than one would expect for the style.
