Copper color in the glass. Floral and fruity hop aroma. Fairly sweet malt goes up against the hops on the palate, with a slightly heavy mouthfeel. Some nuts and toast from the malt as well. bubblehouse (1492) - louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAY 21, 2014
A nice imperial ipa. Good and hoppy with a very pleasant aroma. Has a nice head and legs. Nische (2194) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 19, 2014
Pours orange-gold with a thin off-white head. Aroma is fruity with pine and caramel. Taste is more of the same with nice hop/malt balance. Smooth finish, quite light on the bitterness. ronaldtheriot (1919) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - MAY 15, 2014
Brooklyn Blast has a thin-to-medium, off-white head, a rather hazy, somewhat bubbly, orange-gold appearance, and a few scattered lacing rings left on the glass. The aroma is of bursting, fruity, and bold sweet malt and hop oils, and the flavor is the same, with a pleasant and not harsh, but present and strong bitterness to balance the sweetness. No alcohol notes with this one. Brooklyn Blast! has a medium-to-heavy and slick mouthfeel, and it finishes on the puckering side and more drinkable than one would expect for the style. Aromas of fruit, florals, and biscuit emanate from a slightly hazy amber hued brew which supports a thin white lasting head and generous lacing. The flavor is a balanced juggle of malts and hops. Tropical fruit, biscuit, pine, resin and crisp hoppy bitter finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. Snappy mouthfeel. Overall, tasty, refreshing, and very drinkable. williamstome (1865) - Somerville, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 12, 2014

bottle pour..pours at typical dipa medium orange pour..good amount of carbonation..left a 2 finger frothy head that dissipates to a nice single ring layer all around...nose is citrus fruit with pineapple..mango present..first sit hits with a distinct bitterness but after that wave not getting much in the bitterness here...mouthfeel is alright..clean..fresh tasting..however not getting dominant much of anything in the way of a juicy, hoppy dipa or a pine bomb.. 60minuteman (1682) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 9, 2014
Bottle. Only a little bitter for a 9% IIPA. Fruity esters and aromas. Balanced out by the wheat, flowers, and bread. Really excellent texture. So smooth. And lots of flavor.
