COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Brown Ale, made exclusively with American ingredients, won Bronze medals at the Great American Beer Festival in the Strong Ale Category in 1991 and in the American Brown Ale Category in 1992. Brooklyn Brown uses pale, crystal, chocolate, and black malts to attain a complex creamy texture. It is more heavily hopped than its British forbears.

odd tastes and aftertastes took away any of the good I experienced. Im not sure why beer companies feel it is necessary to "add" extra tastes.

Just make the beer good, the rest will take care of itself. Paulaner and Weihenstephaner have been around, with the same taste - for hundreds of years.

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2017 God øl i balance.

Bottle from ASDA, Washington. Copper-brown coloured with a thick white head. It has a malty, toffee, red fruit and slight citrus flavour followed by earthy, malt, burnt toffee and pine on the earthy finish. Very good indeed.
