750 ml bottle poured a clear reddish brown with a lingering ring of tan foam. Aromas of toffee, caramel, brown sugar, bourbon, oak and vanilla. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. 750ml Ghost Bottle. Pours a watery, opaque black with some creamy, off white head. Nose is mostly bourbon, malty, some chocolate, a little licorice, raisins, booze. Pours a dark brown, with a beige head.
Spicy, woody aroma, dark malts, chocolate, Bourbon, vanilla, earth, caramel.
Semi-sweet, full bodied, medium bitterness, balanced CO2.
Spicy, quite burning (alcohol) taste, chocolate, candied sugar, wood, vanilla, caramel, phenols, earth. Very potent and complex, but a bit rough.

Pouring at the Night of the Funk in Boston. Pours a deep brown to black. Big warm bourbon and vanilla on the nose, wood. Sweet and warm alcohol, vanilla. Soft chocolate, toast, and light cocoa. Pudding, bourbon, vanilla and chocolate. Long vanilla and bourbon, cocoa.
