Complex boozey-winey aroma. Pale golden color with no head. Dull sweet winey flavor with light bourbony complexity....fantastic and quite boozy.
Notes: Denver Rare Beer Tasting ’13 wedgie9 (2702) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 13, 2014
From notes. Tasted from a "ghost bottle" at the East Nashville Beer Festival in March of 2013. Pours hazy bright orange with a thin white head that leaves uneven lace. The nose is a pretty unique blend of more traditional spicy yeast, nice and floral, just like Riesling, and a nice bit of funky botrytis, along with some caramel malt. The flavor is a bit sweet, but it is nicely balanced by brett and botrytis funk. It is very cool how all of these flavors meld together. The body is full with almost Champagne-like sparkling carbonation and a long funky, somewhat sweet, vinous finish. thomat (3868) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 7, 2013

More still in carb than the rose which I like. It is like drinking a straight Riesling. thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 19, 2013
(750ml bottle) tepid gold, no real bubbles. Nose is quite woody, mossy cellar floor, floral, old books, musty, mint. Taste is pretty sweet, woody, mossy, Brett, grape must, complex and lightly carbonated, alcohol is prevalent in this to a greater degree than the Rosé. Jow (3925) - New York, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Tap at Brewers Choice. Pours hazy orange with nice sweet nose of fruit candy. tastes of caramel, floral, tropical fruit, yeast, certainly some sweet riesling notes. boozy warming on finish. auerbrau (3203) - Ithaca, New York, USA - OCT 20, 2012
UPDATED: OCT 4, 2013 750mL Bottle, poured by Garrett Oliver at Beervana - Cranston, RI. Insanely complex aroma, mashing together a myriad of spice and white fruit. It really has this fresh, singular earthy almost sandalwood spice tone to the aroma and the onset of the flavor. The effervescent body of this beer crackles and sparkles along with the bright whiteness of this beer. I’m just really stunned and blown away by the totally new flavors and dimensions of fruitiness and spiciness that are coming from the natural lees and that wonderful warm touch of botrytized grape. I went back for multiple samples this was so good. Best beer of the night, for sure. TheJestersBeer (2430) - SWEDEN - JUL 17, 2012
