A really good belgian style. Really smooth for a high abv. Nice aroma and a solid taste.

on tap @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear medium amber, white head cover, blobs of lace. Aroma of malt and yeast. Taste is malt with honey and sweet lemon/lime, countered slightly by light floral hops. Definite light pepper and light spices. A solid brew, grows better with each swallow.

Bottle at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear golden/orange beer with a nice offwhite head. Malty yeasty aroma, citrus, caramel, raisins, figs, toffee, spicy notes. Yeasty malt flavor, raisins, figs, caramel, bready, pepper notes, grassy, herbal notes. Quite nice.

Taster. Poured hazy yellow. Aroma of corinder, spices and wheat malts. Taste is similar with a hint of pepper and lemon zest. Just alright.

Caytinator (1005) - Waco, Texas, USA - JAN 27, 2015
Pours a cloudy weird color thanks to the fact that it’s the last beer on the tap. Brown-ish cloudy. Tropical aroma, light fruits, taste crystals. Well-made and pretty complex taste, you get plenty of fruit but also a little sourdough and white bread. Just awesome, maybe the aftertaste is a little too strong but hard to get around. Rockin beer.

Pale golden in color with a white head. Spiced aroma and taste...somewhat of a menthol like character; quite interesting.

Patrickctenchi (6587) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - DEC 31, 2014
Draft: Clear, dark gold with a small, off-white head. Yeasty, lemon, grain scent. Flavour is spicy lemon, herbs, yeasty... Not bad.

Pretty wonderful Thanksgiving beer. Certainly not as deep as the season would suggest, but wonderfully complex. Similar to a solid hefeweizen with more complexity.

Transfer from BA review on 10-21-13- Poured from growler into a snifter Appearance – The body of the beer pours a nice golden-orange color with a very small foamy white head. The head fades rather fast leaving some light foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is a rather nice blend of sweet and spice. There is a nice level of toffee and honey sweetness mixed with a lighter level of an orange and banana sweetness. The spice is biggest of a coriander and clove, but also has good levels of saffron and allspice joining as well. Along with these aromas, are some nice notes of a yeasty nature, some grass, and a nice doughy smell. Overall, with a light lemon aroma, the smell is very sweet and soothing. Taste - the taste begins with a nice doughty flavor matched with lots of honey and toffee sweetness. A cracker flavor comes to fruition quickly in the taste and is joined by other flavors of a more yeasty like nature. The spice is present from the start, but gets quite a bit more potent as the flavor advances. It is heaviest of a clove and coriander flavor with a lighter saffron flavor that is persistent throughout the taste. Some lemongrass and citrus comes to the tongue more toward the end. With the spice getting even stronger as the taste advances to its finish, and with a banana and light pepper flavor coming to the tongue, a very pleasant and smooth flavor is left to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is on the slicker and more viscous side with a carbonation that consists of tiny, champagne like bubbles. The moderate level of prickly carbonation bubbles in conjunction with the slicker body are very nice for the spice and sweet nature of the brew creating a wonderful, yet soothing mouthfeel. Overall – This is a wonderfully spiced and quite pleasant drinking brew. It has a wonderful smell, taste and feel… If only it was more accessible and put in a bottled format. Very tasty.
