Brooklyn East India Pale Ale, originally a summer seasonal, has been getting raves since becoming a year round offering in 1996. Garrett Oliver, a student of English brewing and beer history, uses English malts and hops to brew his EIPA in the classic, heavily-hopped style of the 19th century beers created for British soldiers serving in India.

12 oz bottle poured. Mostly clean, clear golden pour with a thin fizz head. English style IPA for sure if you ask me, mostly due to it being unique to my normal steady. Slight plastic hops aroma, flavor is a cool, plastic hints again. Not off putting though. A late bitter follow. Interesting IPA.

Flaske på Radisson Blu Alna. Aroma sitrus, humle, malt. Utseende klar gylden med hvitt skum. Smak sitrus, humle, malt, grapefrukt.

Golden colour with white foam. Lots of hops in the aroma and in the taste but a bit to strong.

This beer has a very intensive taste and a good after taste. Nice bitter taste 60-80 IBU. Solid IPA.

Me encantara probarla recin embotellada.

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2017 Pours clear orange. Aroma of citrus grapefruit, and orange. Taste is citrus grapefruit hops. Light and not overly bitter. Not as juicy as I expected from an East Coast IPA. Generally OK, but mostly generic C hop taste. Enjoyable but I didnt think this was greatly different from many West Coast IPAs
