Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy golden, creamy head. Almondy fruity nose. Soft and caramelly. Medium sweet with gentle, rounded mouthfeel. Delicious seemless flavour of custard, estery bubblegum and marzipan. Mildly warming.

hopdog (12341) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 30, 2008
On tap. Poured a medium and hazy golden color with a smaler sized white head. Aromas of fruitiness (bananas), citrus, and some spiciness. Tastes of same fruitiness (applies, pears, and bananas), citrus, and spices. Lively body. Reminded me of a Tripel.

Sammy (12091) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 9, 2008
Funky aroma with a nice yeast. Orange with a white head and big lacing. A little aggressive carbonation. Taste is yeasty, corriander, and the mouthfeel of wheat - it rolls off the tongue. A great Belgian, lovely.Cole’s with Mike.

hopscotch (11045) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 28, 2008
Draft… Cloudy golden ale with orange highlights and a small, creamy, white head. Fantastic retention. Fruity, breadsy, very spicy aroma provides notes of orange peel, clove and coriander. Full-bodied and lightly creamy with lively carbonation. Moderately sweet, spicy, yeasty flavor. Watery finish.

DocLock (10647) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 28, 2008
Draft at Capone’s. Pours turbid deep gold with 1-finger white head. Nose is very fruity, with orange, fig, melon, honey, peach, spicy yeast, perfumy florals. Very complex aroma. The flavor is fruity at first, with apricot, peach, orange, giving way to spicy yeast, florals, and some earthy and peaty finishing notes. Very complex in flavor, with a rich, complex palate, I’m gonna go ahead and cal this an elite grand cru; certainly one of the 10 best examples I’ve ever tasted.

jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 8, 2009
2008-12-06. Murky pastel gold body (Freshly tapped?) with a modest white head. (3+) Sweetish aroma, light yeast and esters over sweet malt. (7+) Sweetish flavour, light alcohol, sweet fruity esters with a touch of banana that may be my imagination. (7+) Smooth average plus palate. Pretty decent. On tap at Coles, Buffalo

DuffMan (10270) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 1, 2008
GABF 2008. Cloudy pale yellow, thick dense creamy head. Banana and spice aroma, a little spritzy. Sweet wheaty palate, soft ripe banana, clovy spice, with a warming boozy quality to the finish.

Skinnyviking (9550) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 23, 2008
Draught. High creamy and lasting off-white head. Banana clove spicy aroma. Banana coriander lemon clove flavor with low carbonation and a long aftertaste.

JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 18, 2008
Growler from Bierkraft. Hazy pale golden colour topped by a thick fluffy/sticky white head. Aroma is quite rich and fruity. Soft banana and orange peel with a rich pale Belgian malt sweetness. Softly fruity with loads of banana and orange along with sweet bubble gum. They have a pretty tasty yeast, although it leaves the beer fairly sweet. Very aromatic with lots of sweet estery fruitiness (apple, pear, and banana). Light clove and allspice on the finish. It’s well-made and quite tasty.
