Brooklyn Lager, the Brewery's flagship label, is New York's "hometown" beer, brewed to a pre-Prohibition recipe that dates back to the days when Brooklyn was the brewing capital of the East Coast. Brooklyn Lager has won numerous awards. Wrote Michael Jackson in the Simon & Schuster Pocket Guide to Beer: "The dry-hopped, fresh, flowery, firm, flavourful, Brooklyn Lager **-*** started well, in 1988, and has gained in character since."

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2018 I was actually kinda bored by this lager. I don’t mind a good Vienna lager, but this one seemed to try and showcase its malts and hops separately instead of as a whole which kind of hurt the overall.

biilz (280) - SPAIN - JAN 13, 2018
Запах в основе солодовый, с легким оттенком груши и яблока. Цвет слегка бледный лагер, пена тонкая, белая. Вкус очень солодовый, имеется легкая фруктовая горчинка. Но само по себе пиво весьма посредственное на вкус.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2018 On draft at The Three lions lounge at Wembley. Dark golden with big white head. Malts and hops. Nice

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2018 @ Bjällerödsvägen 4/1-18. Can from Systembolaget. Fruity with hops, also caramel, malt and notes of citrus. Body is medium, the finish is dry with notes of malt and caramel.

Bottle. Malt, nuts in caramel, light herbal hoppy notes, vaguely fruity hoppy. Light honeyish oxidised. Still good.

Kleg (448) - The Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 11, 2017
Clear orange/bronze color with thin light beige head and very good retention. Good lacing. Low carbonation. Light caramel taste, a little hoppy in flavor for an amber. Closer to an IPL than an amber lager.

Bottle in the Arisaig Hotel. Pours light straw with a head that dissapears quick. The bitterness of the lager strikes surprisingly quick for a lager. The malt is bready Vienna biscuit not clean or sweet. This beer has to be sipped as the bietterness continues to the end. Not a refresfimh hot day lager. An interesting sipping beer when you need one to last.

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2017 Twelve pack of cans cost me $19. Poured into a frosty pint glass. Nice color and good malt smell. Taste didn’t disappoint either. I love Vienna style lagers and this one is now at the top of my list. For price and quality I don’t think it can be beat.

0,35 l. Bottle. Amber color with white head. Malt aroma. Malt, hop and bitter taste

jmgreenuk (10386) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - DEC 3, 2017
33cl can. Poured a clear medium amber with a fizzy white head. The aroma is toffee caramel malt, dry earthy mineral, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, watery, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
