Brooklyn Lager, the Brewery's flagship label, is New York's "hometown" beer, brewed to a pre-Prohibition recipe that dates back to the days when Brooklyn was the brewing capital of the East Coast. Brooklyn Lager has won numerous awards. Wrote Michael Jackson in the Simon & Schuster Pocket Guide to Beer: "The dry-hopped, fresh, flowery, firm, flavourful, Brooklyn Lager **-*** started well, in 1988, and has gained in character since."

This accurate lager was my first introduction to craft beer. The Hoppy aroma and well balanced bitterness/sweetness make it my first recommendation for any new comers to specialty beer.

Rigtig flot gul/orange farve. Lækker små tør smag med perfekt bitterhed. En rigtig lækker øl! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Heelijk doordrinkbier. Uit fles. Mooie kleur. Lekker bittere smaak, veel pit voor een bier met dit alcoholpercentage. Favoriet om er een paar van na elkaar te drinken op een avond, zonder vevelende gevolgen.

330 ml bottle. Amber colour, nice firm white head. Hoppy smell. Lemon, corn, malts, some mango, sour dough. Hoppy bitterness, slightly malty, floral. Creamy texture, bitter finish. Soft carbonated. Nice!

Not a great deal going on but absolutely fine for what it is. Faintest hint of malt in an otherwise very lager-y smell, clean, fresh, slight bit of soapiness from bubbles. Well-balanced bitterness and malt through the palate. Looks nice in a bottle, pours nice in a glass.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2017 can. Poured clear amber with a creamy white head. Floral hop aroma. Light-medium body, creamy carbonation, finishes a bit flat. Malty base, a bit grainy with a sweet caramel flavour, herbal hops with a peppery note. A nice drinkable brew.
