Brooklyn Lager, the Brewery's flagship label, is New York's "hometown" beer, brewed to a pre-Prohibition recipe that dates back to the days when Brooklyn was the brewing capital of the East Coast. Brooklyn Lager has won numerous awards. Wrote Michael Jackson in the Simon & Schuster Pocket Guide to Beer: "The dry-hopped, fresh, flowery, firm, flavourful, Brooklyn Lager **-*** started well, in 1988, and has gained in character since."

UPDATED: JUN 11, 2016 Best commercial lager in the world. Lager is probably the worst type of beer, but this one is more like IPA ora APA. Darker colour than any other lager in the world, red dark orange gold. Small light beige top. Nice taste, bitter finish. Also nicely carbonate. I do not know why it is called Vienna lager, because it is really good American type of beer. Sometimes Americans think that Eu name is something more precious.

Every medium except for from a can somehow. This is my favorite beer though, my go to, probably my most consumed and purchased over the time Ive been drinking beer so far. Very attractive amber/dark gold body, creamy head, crisp and clean taste, good balance of caramel, roastiness, and floral hops. Much more colorful and flavorful and just all around way better tasting than most American lagers, especially the macros and standards. Fantastic.

Brooklyn was one of the first "craft beers" i tried. Dark with abit of a kick to it but very enjoyable.

A solid lager, one of the best with a decent distribution (which sadly doesnt reach KS). A great session lager, malty and slightly thick on the palate. A nice hoppy zip. Tried with Nick at DMK burger in Chicago, 2012.

Malty and fruity. Full body, sweet, light sour with creamy mild bitter grapefruity finish. Very nice.

UPDATED: FEB 13, 2016 En riktigt god lager! Snygg gyllenmörk färg. Lagom beska men god "clean" smak ändå med humle i förgrunden.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a amber to almost copper color with a large white head. The aroma was citrus and floral hops. The taste included a slight citrus and hop bite, really enjoyable.

A really easy beer to drink. Poured from the keg here in Australia comes out fresh and refreshing.
