Black Heart, London. More or less black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, ashes, toffee and some mild syrupy and nutty notes. Flavour is liquorice, ashes, ripe fruits, syrup and some slight spicy and wooden notes.
Draft at Bottles 101. Aroma of espresso, coffee with a hint of maple. Taste dominates of coffee and subtle maple. Thought there would be more maple. Smooth palate, decent carbonation. Decent porter. To much coffee. But a nice beer overall.

A very nice brew. The maple was muted, and I’d have been hard-pressed to identify it with the pizza that I was eating. Pretty complex, and another solid beer from Brooklyn. Mid black in colouration - brown hues around edges with half a finger of light brown head.
Roasted sweet malts, a little coffee, sweet aromas although I couldn’t pick out maple.
Sweetish tasting stout, a little chocolate, tofee, buttery.
Medium bodied, easy on the throat.

On tap at Common, Manchester. Dark with minimal head. Roasty and coffee-like sensations are prominent. Happily the maple manages to shine through and accentuates things quite well overall, but the porter itself isn’t really to my liking. Too oily for me. Good effort but could be improved upon.

aromas of candy, roast, vanilla, earth, wood and some toasted nuttiness.

Smelled of dark fruits Maple, roast grains and chocolate, poured deep adn dark with a nice small head. Taste of Maple was still there and that was great. sweet yet balanced with some molassis adn most dark fruit, a hint of spice. Smooth and not too heavily bodied. Pours more or less pitch black, with a firm brown head.
Rich, complex aroma, roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, toffee, vanilla, coffee beans, tobacco, leather, licorice, ashes.
Off-dry, medium to full bodied, medium bitterness, creamy CO2.
Rich, roasted taste, slightly smoky, chocolate, licorice, coffee beans, vanilla, ashes, earth. Hints of maple. Very well balanced.
