Tap at the Brooklyn Brewery. Very nice Marzen style beer. Nice complex flavors and rich mouth feel yet easy to drink. Beautiful deep reddish brown color. Diminishing head that leaves a nice lacing around the top. Smells great and nicely roasted malts. One of my favorite Oktoberfest beers.
Aroma and flavor is bread/malts, light hops and a mix of mild citrus and mostly smooth in the finish. gripweed57 (2909) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - NOV 7, 2017
12 ounce bottle. Brilliant copper color. Large rocky beige head. Toasted malt nose with a sweet, biscuity nuance. Lightly sweet, caramel flavor upfront. A hint of spicy, grainy malt and grassy hops. Though it looks, smells and tastes like a Marzen Bier, it lacks the depth and character of its German lineage. Cool_Bond (2810) - KUNG_AV_OL @ Instagram, SWEDEN - NOV 7, 2017

This is my first time coming across this seasonal release from Brooklyn Brewery, and although still very good, this is isn't in the same category of greatness as many of Brooklyn's other beers. From the bottle, this poured an average reddish copper color with white foam, par for the style. Aroma is a faint unsweet caramel malt with interesting notes of straw (apparently from hops) and raisiny fruit (apparently from malt). Flavor is a moderately sweet caramel malt and warm bread, with a touch of noble hop bitterness and cool hoppy aftertaste. A true lager, but nothing too impressive. Still, enjoyable and plenty worthy of any authentic Oktoberfest celebration. konungen (657) - - OCT 13, 2017
Helt ok. Drack den på tågstationen i NY, släckte min törst men inget jag lär leta efter igen.

Brooklyn Oktoberfest was introduced in 2000. It is true to the original German style, full-bodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness. When Crown Prince Ludwig of Bavaria wanted to celebrate his wedding engagement in 1810, he did what any good Bavarian prince would--he threw a beer festival. Bothe the festival and the special beer served there became known as Oktoberfest. Brewed from the finest German malt and hops, Brooklyn Oktoberfest is true to the original style, fullbodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness.

12floz bottle, bottling code smudged, $1.75 unit cost. Bright copper in color with a thin beige head as poured in a pint glass. This octoberfest has more of a butterscotch aroma than compared to others. This is a pretty good version of the style. It's true to it and is devoid of flaws, just a solid medium-bodied, German caramel malt lager. nickel (1236) - UKRAINE - SEP 19, 2017
Aroma: malt, bread, caramel and grass.
Taste: sweet malt dominates, though other flavors like bread, caramel, citrus and grass enhance beer complexity. High drinkability

Good flavor. A little too sweet for my Octoberfest taste. I would buy again.
