Draft at Belgian Cafe. Pours a light orange-copper with thin head and minimal lace. Nose of roasted malt, light citrus, some pine. Light body. Taste is dominated by a burnt roasted caramel malt flavor. Some hops but they take a backseat to the burnt malt.
From notes, mild bitterness, light on the palate, pretty easy drinker. Worth a try. obguthr (6535) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - SEP 14, 2014
Draft at Macado’s, Harrisonburg VA: Lilly and rye aroma. Cloudy golden, thick head with little retention. Lilly flavor. Very light body and watery. Good, but more like hop tea than beer. Joakgust (1466) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 4, 2014
Bottle. Clear golden beer with a large white head. Aroma is fruity with notes of citrus, mangos, peaches and passion fruit. Flavor is fruity with notes of caramel, citrus, peaches and mangos. Really reminds me of mosaic. Oakes (18209) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 24, 2014
UPDATED: MAR 25, 2014 Hazy light tan. Aroma is kind of in between lemony and tropical. Quite bitter, grapefruit to the fore, pulpy and rich grapefruit, with a vague and maybe even thin pale malt character. Refreshing, with all that grapefruit. Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouverrougeau13 (3136) - Richmond, Texas, USA - NOV 18, 2013
Cloudy deep blond color. This hop has a citrusy aroma, cedar, quite pungent. Dry mouthfeel, with not much malt flavor, but a strong pungent hop character; strong bitterness too; light fruity side; dry final with a paper impression.
The hop is nice, the base beer could be better, at least it doesn’t cover the hop.
Really hazy amber-copper with an off-white head. Aroma of grass and citrus and burnt popcorn, and muddy. Tastes like burnt popcorn and aspirin. Medium bodied. Poopy; keep your new hop away from me. jcwattsrugger (12506) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - NOV 17, 2013
