COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Scorcher #366 is a very tasty summer pale ale featuring a hop so new that it doesn’t have a real name yet – right now it’s just called “HBC 366”.

Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is lots of fresh hops, citrus, pine needles, newly cut lawn, leafs. Taste is fresh, slightly dry and fruity, lots of fresh hops, newly cut lawn, leafs, bark, citrus, hints of cardboard. Longlasting bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Really nice.

My favorite at the Blue Palms 5th Anniversary. Amazing flavor and only 4.5%. Huge floral aroma and taste. A bit of a citrus background rounds out the flavor. Sharp and bright tasting as well. My last beer of the day and it still punched through the previous 8 beers with its flavor.

Extremely floral and crisp aroma. Yellow golden color. Light hoppiness and taste. Very drinkable and casual pale ale. Great summer session ale.

Tap at Commercial Taphouse, thanks Sean! Medium orange, good head. Aroma is actually quite fantastic, just a straight burst of tangerines. Flavor is of light malt, a bit of orange, but then a definitive melon hop note. Not bad. Loved the aroma, was so-so about the flavor. Needed just a hint more malt, and didn’t dig the melon. But whatever hop #366 is, I love it for aroma in a big way.

Clear golden with thin white foamy head; big hoppy aroma of oil and oak; Flava is harsh at first of crude oil; feels medium fizzy and dry; finishes bitter and slightly tangy;

Draft from Sam’s Quik Shop. I loved this beer. Poured a golden orange, light with a light head. Light palate, perfectly formed for a sunny, hot day. Nose of nectarines and citra-like hops, some tangy, funky sweetness that also comes out on the taste but is well balanced with the bitter hops. One of the few session IPAs that doesn’t feel like a metallic, bitter but thin hop mouthful. Yum.

Aromas of orange rind and some nutty malts. Clear amber with a small off-white head. Dry and lightly bitter, well balanced. Light-medium bodied, well carbonated, and finishes clean.

Growler shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured clear orange golden color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy earthy citrus hop aroma. Medium to abundant body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. Very good brew.

Pour from a half growler that DrSilverworm filled at Whole Foods-Cincinnati. Thanks, Chris! Pours a pale clear gold with a head that diminishes quickly into spots and a ring. Aroma of big herbal notes, peppery spice, straw, husky grains, pale malts, and lemon citrus. Flavor of lemon, herbs, straw, pepper, and pale malts. Light-bodied, with a dry, spiced mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Had a little pull of it later in the evening and it had fallen off a bit, so drink it cold and fresh. Nice session IPA.

32oz growler filled at my local Whole Foods, less than an hour before consumption. Shared with the local group. Clear golden color. Thin white head. Few loose dots of lace. Big grassy hop flavor, lightly spicy, light toasty malt. Light to medium body. Lighter, crisp carbonation. Lightly dry in the finish. Light bitter, moderate zesty taste. Very satisfying session IPA. Big nose for the light ABV. Competitive with the best of the new wave of session IPAs.
