COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Brooklyn Brewery is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. We are fortunate to be a part of the incredible cultural renaissance Brooklyn has enjoyed during the last quarter century. Four great Brooklyn artists whom we met along the wayFred Tomaselli, Roxy Paine, Joe Amhrein and Elizabeth Crawfordhave created special labels for our Silver Anniversary Lager beer. We are saluting our beginnings with a special doppelbock version of the Brooklyn Lager we introduced in 1988. This beer is re-fermented in the bottle and will taste great today or years from now. The original was inspired by the beers of 19th Century New York and Vienna.

(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with crisp-bread, toffee, honey, dried fruit, grapefruit and a touch of white pepper. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of rye bread, treacle-toffee, caramel, honey, grapefruit, orange peel and a balanced spicy, citric bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced bock, with a fresh citric touch. Nice one.

Pours a dark rusty copper color with a beige head. Nose is caramel and toffee, and sweet. Taste is grainy with light hops, rather bland with no real flavors standing out . Boring ! Quaff Score 6 /10

750mL bottle. Poured deeper orange with a well-retained off-white head. The aroma picked up swestern biscuits malts, caramel, berries, and a hefty dose of oxidation.. smelled a bit old. The flavor found similar, with bread you malt support anduring berries + oxidation around.. dry on the finish with muddled malts and dusty notes. Medium-bodied and fairly well carbonated.. creamy middle.. too much broken-down stuff to be great.

Tognetta (785) - So Paulo, BRAZIL - MAR 9, 2016
mbar escuro, parcialmente turva, espuma alaranjada de boa formao e persistncia. Aroma bastante maltado, caramelado, amadeirado, maple syrup, lpulo presente, lcool perceptvel. Paladar trs um leve amadeirado, dulor mdio e baixo amargor. Corpo mdio e baixa carbonatao. Aftertaste de malte intenso, mas de mdia persistncia, novamente amadeirada e adocicado, lcool fica mais perceptvel com o aumento da temperatura. Muito boa !
